Kevin Norton was born in Philadelphia, and began playing and performing music at age 7. Starting with piano at age 6, and gravitating towards bass and electric guitar, Kevin has kept himself busy playing with just about every genre of music he could find: Jazz, Reggae, Rock and Roll, Pop, Folk, Blues and Country, Hip/Hop and Dance, with a primary focus on original composition.

In 2007-2008, Kevin co-founded Collective Love Unlimited, an Olympia based hip-hop funk project, and Razors and Red Flags, an Olympia based rock and roll project. Recently both bands have recorded full-length records in studios around the Puget Sound area, including Olympia.s Dub Narcotic Studios, home of K records.

He self-studied in audio engineering and recording, he was a co-founding member of the Grammy nominated Utah Philips tribute act, Fast Rattler.

To date Kevin has composed nearly two hundred original compositions, worked on various recordings and has traveled and preformed around the continental US and Canada. He was a student of The Evergreen State University. In 2011, Kevin became an instructor at Rhythm Fire School of Music and Performance and has experience in: beginner, intermediate and professional guitar, lead and rhythm guitar, fretless and fretted bass guitar, beginner piano, piano, beginner violin, beginner voice, musical and lyrical composition, music theory and beginner music theory, sound engineering, live sound engineering and pa, audio recording; both home and in studio, music history, and band facilitation and coaching.
